Michael Eamon BA, MA, MPhil, PhD

Currently Principal of Catherine Parr Trail College at Trent University, Dr. Michael Eamon has had a distinguished career since his graduation from BCI.

In addition to his role at Traill College Dr. Eamon is chair of the International Advisory Board for Collegiate Way International, a world-wide association of university colleges, Director of Continuing Education and Lecturer at Trent University and Adjunct Professor at the Frost Centre for Canadian Studies and Indigenous Studies.

While at BCI Michael was a member of the concert band and the stage band as well as the choir. He also starred in two musicals.  An Ontario Scholar, Michael was valedictorian of his graduating class. After high school Michael earned degrees at the University of Ottawa, Queen’s University and the University of Cambridge.

In addition to his academic work, Dr. Eamon published the book Imprinting Britain (2015) and numerous scholarly articles and publications. He also continues to be a popular guest lecturer in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom and Germany.
